November 2022

8.11.22

On 4 November 2022 the WA Government announced the end to the COVID 19 State of Emergency. As a result, the public health directions used to manage the COVID 19 pandemic have ceased.

From 7 November 2022 Coolibah Care lifted visiting restrictions and normal visiting hours resumed.

  • Visitor bookings are no longer required
  • Visitors will not be required to wear a mask
  • Visitors will no longer be required to RAT test on arrival
  • Limits to the number of visitors to the facility no longer apply.

What we recommend to ensure our residents and staff stay safe:

With COVID 19 is still very active in the community, the following measures remain in place:

  • Signing in is a requirement for contact tracing purposes and emergency management .
  • All visitors will be temperature screened
  • If you have COVID 19 symptoms, please perform a RAT test and do not visit until you are symptom free
  • If you are COVID 19 positive, or a close contact, please do not enter Coolibah for seven (7) days
  • We encourage residents and all visitors to stay up to date with influenza and COVID vaccinations.
  • Continue to perform hand hygiene, cough etiquette and wear a mask if you feel more comfortable

Keeping our residents and staff safe will forever be our top priority.  Over the last two (2) years we have implemented many measures to keep our community comfortable and safe.

We thank you for your ongoing patience and support.
