Carer – Residential Aged Care

We currently have opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated people to work as Carers in our Residential Facility. We have casual and part-time positions available. Our Carers play a very valued and important role in providing quality care so that our residents can live the life they choose in a dignified and respectful way.

Skill and Experience required for this role:

• Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care or similar qualification
• Previous experience working in an aged care setting
• Previous experience recording and maintaining clinical records
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Legislation

In this role you will be required to:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including; personal care, mobility, comfort, nutrition, and pain management as outlined in the care plan
• Ensure the needs and preferences of residents are met effectively and appropriately.
• Ensure privacy and dignity is maintained at all times
• Work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for all residents in an inclusive and respectful environment
• Communicate effectively with residents and their representatives to ensure effective relationships and support them to have the opportunity for feedback
