Home Care Packages
Home / Home & Respite Services / At-Home Care / Home Care Packages
A government funded Home Care Package is designed to support you to live at home independently and enables access to a wide range of home care services.
To access a Home Care Package you will need to determine your eligibility by visiting My Aged Care or by calling 1800 200 422.
Home Care Packages are assigned based on individual requirements. An assessor from the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will visit your home to ascertain your needs and, if approved, you will be added to a wait list.
Home Care Package Costs
The funding you are eligible for is determined by individual needs and circumstances as assessed by the Department of Human Services.
It is expected that some people will need to contribute more toward their home care fees.
